Extended School Year (ESY)
Believers Academy offers extended school year services (ESY). Believers Academy's ESY program is a combination of academic instruction, life skills, and camp activities. The ESY program focuses on academic achievement according to the student's IEP goals. The ESY program is operated by highly qualified teachers. The student's IEP team determines the type and length of time services is needed to meet the individual needs of the student Lunch is provided and transportation will be provided for an additional cost. Summer Enrichment Program
Our summer enrichment program focuses on youths who are experiencing behavioral and/or social difficulties. These youths will learn new skills, meet new people, set healthy boundaries and enjoy traditional summer fun. These youths are surrounded by positive supervision and support from our trained staff. Our program is filled with experiential learning and wholesome summer fun. All activities that take place are all structured and teaching tools for our youths. Youths will go on various field trips and participate in organized games and sports. Lunch and transportation is provided along with all admission to each activity and field trip. Some of the activities and field trips will be hiking, canoeing, arts and crafts, skating, group discussions, beach and cookout. Our program has three sessions that consist of three weeks per session. We serve youths six years of age to seventeen years of age. Entrepreneurial Life Skills Program (BIZ)
Our BIZ program focuses on the opportunity to engage students in rich, dynamic and challenging activities to help them learn, explore their talents, develop positive relationships with peers and adults and build the skills necessary to succeed in life. Students are engaged in hands on activities and an award winning National Foundation for Entrepreneurship curriculum. Students will take part in field trips to local entrepreneur job sites to give them first hand experience of what it takes to become an entrepreneur. Students will learn how to create a resume, how to complete job applications and learn interview techniques. Lunch and transportation is provided.
